Sophie Latraverse spent ten years as a litigation lawyer in insurance law, construction law and product liability in Montreal, before managing strategic human rights litigation with the French Ombudsman and Equality body, the Defender of Rights. After creating its investigation services in 2005 as specialist in evidence law, she became its general counsel from 2011 to 2021. Since 2013, Sophie has also been closely involved in the development and implementation of class action in France.
Renowned European expert, Sophie has returned to civil litigation and pursues the expert mandates she undertakes with the European Commission and other stakeholders since 2004.
